- Select two people in the community that your child would be interested in interviewing. Brainstorm a list of typical job-related questions. Have your child write an invitation to each "celebrity" for tea, cookies, and questions. Plan the thirty minutes to an hour by asking how many questions would make sense for that time period and how will the answers be recorded. Do you need a tape recorder or video camera? The last step of the process would be to practice before the big event. See how your guest’s responses compared to the SCANS sheet listed below.
